Ask your books a question. Get a straight answer.
Connect Faas to Claude or ChatGPT. Ask who owes you, how last month went or what is left before the month can close. Nothing in your books changes unless you say yes.
Reading your books works on every plan, with the reports your plan includes. Making changes is in Standard and Practice.
You should not need an accountant to answer "how are we doing?"
The answers are already in your books: who has not paid, where the money went, why profit fell. An AI assistant connected to Faas reads the same figures you see in Faas and explains them in plain words, any time you ask.
Three steps, about two minutes.
Add Faas to your assistant
In Claude, add a custom connector. In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode and create an app. Paste the Faas server address from Profile, Connect AI assistants.
Sign in and choose
You sign in to Faas as usual, pick the workspace, and decide whether the assistant may only read, or also make changes that you confirm one by one.
Ask
Ask in your own words: "who owes me money?", "explain last month's profit", "process this bank statement".
The same numbers as your reports, explained.
The assistant reads the reports Faas already makes: Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, cash flow, who owes you and whom you owe, SST and more. The figures match the screen to the sen, because they come from the same place.
- Business summary for any month or year
- Compare two periods and see which accounts moved profit
- Trace any figure back to its invoices and bills
Hand over the statement. Answer a few questions.
Give the assistant your bank statement as a PDF, CSV or photo. Faas reads it, shows you what it found and whether it ties to your books, and imports it only when you agree. Certain matches are ticked off on their own; the rest come back as short questions.
- The difference between the bank and your books, explained
- Money in with no invoice, with the likely customer
- Money out with no receipt, so nothing is missing at year end
Every change waits for your yes.
When you ask the assistant to create an invoice, record a payment or send a reminder, Faas first shows exactly what will happen: the customer, the lines, the amounts, the email address. Only when you confirm does it happen, once. Your role, your plan, approvals and locked periods all still apply.
- A preview before every change
- Staff submissions still go to approval
- The audit log marks each change "via MCP" with the assistant's name
The words, explained simply.
You do not need to know how the connection works. If you are curious, here is what is going on.
Connector
Also called an app or integration in the assistant.
MCP
Model Context Protocol, an open standard.
Confirm
The second step of every change.
