Timing
A payment you made today may reach the bank in a day or two. The books and the bank are both right, just on different days.
Upload your bank statement as a PDF, a CSV or even a photo. Faas matches each line to your invoices and bills with a confidence score, ticks the sure ones, and asks you Yes or No on the rest.
Statement upload is in every plan. AI matching is in Standard.

It sounds technical, but the job is simple: tick off every line on the bank statement against something you recorded. Faas does the ticking.
Drop in a PDF, a CSV or a photo from your bank. Faas reads the dates, amounts and references.
It compares amount, date and reference against your open invoices, bills and payments, and gives every match a confidence score.
Strong matches tick themselves. For the rest, Faas suggests a match or a category and asks Yes or No.
Your choices become bank rules, so the same kind of line is sorted for you next time.
You do not need a special file. Upload the PDF you downloaded, a CSV export, or a clear photo of a paper statement. Faas reads the rows and starts matching straight away.
A match on the right amount, the right date and the right reference scores high. A match on the amount alone scores lower. Strong matches tick themselves. The rest wait for you.
Instead of a reconciliation screen, Easy Mode shows "3 things to review". Each one is a plain question about a payment or a cost. Tap Yes or No and you are done.
If the same supplier or customer turns up every month, you should not have to answer the same question twice. A bank rule remembers your choice and applies it to the next matching line.

Almost every difference comes down to one of these.
A payment you made today may reach the bank in a day or two. The books and the bank are both right, just on different days.
Bank charges, interest and automatic debits show up on the statement before you record them.
A typo, a duplicate or a payment never recorded. Reconciliation is how you spot them.
Faas does the work, but it helps to know what the words mean.
Checking your books against your bank statement.
The bank's own list of money in and out.
How sure Faas is about a match.
A line nobody has matched yet.
A gap that closes on its own.
A saved choice for a repeating line.
Your books say you have RM 12,450.00 in the bank. The statement says RM 13,640.00. Reconciliation finds the reasons.
| Bank balance in your books | RM 12,450.00 |
| Add: customer payment you had not recorded | + RM 1,200.00 |
| Less: bank charge you had not recorded | - RM 10.00 |
| Books after fixing both | RM 13,640.00 |
The statement says RM 13,640.00. The books now say RM 13,640.00 too, so the difference is RM 0.00 and the bank is reconciled.
